At Lost Lake Farm, our pigs spend their lives on pasture. They have space to exercise, shade to rest in, and fresh water and feed. They forage grasses and legumes on their pasture, eat our excess vegetables, and receive certified non-GMO feed. We raise a mix of heritage pigs that are bred for their excellent flavor, and ability to thrive on pasture.
In the summer and fall we offer bulk shares of pork: whole, half, or a bulk box. If you order a whole or half hog, you can specify the cuts you desire (for example a whole ham vs. quarter hams or ham steaks). A typical half pig share should be roughly 70-90 pounds of pork, including about 8-14 pounds bacon, 20-30 pork chops depending on thickness, 2 shoulder roasts or steaks, 1 ham, ribs, smoked hocks, and ground sausage. Of course the amounts will vary based on the size of your pig.
For those who don't want an entire half pig, we do offer bulk boxes, between 25-50 pounds. These boxes contain the same mix of cuts you would get in a half or whole, just proportionately less.
Half Hog Half a hog, custom processed to your specifications at Ebel’s USDA certified facility. Approximately 70-90 pounds of cut meat, depending on the size of your pig and how you have it cut. $5.50/pound hanging weight (usually ~90-120 pounds) + processing $150 deposit with balance due on delivery
Whole Hog Whole hog, custom processed to your specifications at Ebel’s USDA certified facility. Approximately 140-180 pounds of cut meat, depending on the size of your pig and how you have it cut.
$5/pound hanging weight (usually ~180-240 pounds) + processing $300 deposit with balance due on delivery
------ Bulk Box 25-50 pounds (you choose how much you want) of pork cuts; everything you’d get in a half, just proportionately smaller. A typical 25 pound order may include: 4 packs bacon, 4 packs pork chops, 7 pounds sausage, 1 roast, 1 pack ribs, 1 ham steak or roast.
$8.95/pound flat rate (processing included) $50 deposit with balance due on delivery

We will have bulk shares available in August, and in late November. Let us know which date you're interested in.
For Bulk Box- Choose your poundage between 25-50 pounds, and let us know if you'd like ground pork, chorizo, breakfast, or italian sausage, or a mix of any of those options. (Our custom natural brats are not available in bulk boxes.) The membership discount does not apply to bulk pork orders, as they are already discounted.
